Who we are
prettysensitive.co is run by Sandra Willer, a sole trader registered in Portugal. Sandra Willer is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. Contact: sandrawiller@live.dk
What we collect and why
Newsletter signup: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We use it to send you the free chapter, news about the book, new essays and launch updates. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Orders: your name, email, shipping address, phone number (if given) and order details. We use these to process, ship and support your order and to meet our accounting obligations. The legal basis is performing our contract with you and legal obligations.
Website usage: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics to keep the site working and understand how it's used.
We never ask for or store your card details. Payments are handled directly by our payment providers.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the site and shop:
Squarespace (website hosting, email newsletters, online store)
Stripe and/or PayPal (payment processing)
CTT and other shipping carriers (delivering your order)
Our accountant (bookkeeping and tax)
Some of these providers are based outside the EU, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EU, it's protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
Orders: as long as Portuguese accounting and tax law requires, usually 10 years
Analytics: according to the retention settings of our website provider
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to sandrawiller@live.dk.
If you believe we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at cnpd.pt.
